The Zonta Club of Lincoln held their second meeting of the 2018-2019 year on Tuesday, October 9, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church catered by Peggy’s Bakery. The program included guest speaker Pat Snyder with Harvest of Talents, which began in 1984 in support of world hunger. Over 2 million dollars have been raised to date and all money is donated to stop hunger worldwide through the International Disaster Emergency Service. The items that are sold during Harvest of Talents are completely handmade by local supporters. Several other activities are held throughout the year in support as well.
