Yellow Roses For International Women’s Day
Executive Director of Zonta International , Megan Radavich, accepted to be our guest speaker this year. Everyone was mesmerized by the amount of activities Zonta leads and participates in across the globe. Some Zontians realize it, but having Megan swoop in and let everyone share in what goes on with Zonta’s involvement in very real and important agencies and prestigious organizations that are helping to change conditions on several fronts, not only for women and girls, but all humanity.
The presentation could have come across as a big commercial brag for Zonta, but it was so seriously received by the attendees. Many not so familiar Zonta were very apparently impressed with the international level programs that Zonta sponsors, supports, and partners with .
Every person attended received one yellow long-stemmed rose, and the flowers were really gorgeous this year.
This is the first year that we scheduled the Breakfast on a Saturday, so we were extra pleased that the crowd lingered among themselves as we passed out our absolutely beautiful yellow roses!
