You have often heard the slogan “Think globally – act locally.” This is the core of Zonta Clubs. Local clubs hold events and participate in activities that foster Zonta’s mission through:
- Advocacy – communicating issues relating to women in our local area;
- Service – helping with specific women’s issues in our local area by volunteering to help with everything from a home revamp for a disabled, elderly woman to gathering products for a local domestic violence shelter;
- Fundraising events – donating proceeds to local scholarships, local women’s charities, and toward our Zonta International biennium projects.
