District 6 is comprised of the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
- Illinois claims three Areas: Area 1, the greater Chicagoland area; Area 3, the clubs in southern Illinois; Area 5, the north central region of the state.
- Indiana is home to Area 4
- Wisconsin clubs fall into Area 2
District 6 is comprised of a world-class city, major agricultural centers producing much of the corn and soybeans used in the world along with a robust dairy industry. We are home to major universities and health care centers. Within District 6 you’ll find the third largest city in the United States, and just west of Chicago, in the suburb of Oak Brook, the home of Zonta International headquarters.
Zonta International seeks to advance the status of women worldwide by improving the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local levels through service and advocacy.
