Why join Zonta?
Reasons to join are as different as the type of individuals who make up each club. Some want to make a difference in the community, some are moved by the International mission, some join to interact with other professional women, and some become members to participate in the fabulous events each year.
Who is eligible?
Individuals with a professional or business background, though you need not be presently employed, who have decision-making experience. You must support the Mission and Objectives of Zonta and be willing to give of your time and talent to help empower women through service and advocacy.
A Young Professional Membership Category has been approved for the 2016-2018 biennium as a pilot program. Zonta International is currently offering young professionals the opportunity to pay only US$40 per year, plus a one-time new member fee of US$15. Full district, area and club dues apply unless otherwise determined by the district, area or club.
This new membership category offers young professionals, especially former members of the Z and Golden Z clubs and awardees of Zonta International’s education programs, an opportunity to join other profession women in our mission of empowering women.
